Description of Service:

Movemeant provides individualized, adaptive fitness and movement services for neurodivergent individuals and people with developmental disabilities throughout the Greater Los Angeles area.

Services are designed around each participant’s abilities, goals, interests, and level of independence. Sessions may focus on strength, mobility, balance, coordination, cardiovascular fitness, motor skills, confidence, and developing healthy movement habits that can carry over into everyday life.

Our approach goes beyond traditional personal training. We use movement as a tool to support greater independence, self-confidence, physical capability, and participation in the community. Programming is individualized and can be adapted for participants with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, physical limitations, or other support needs.

Sessions may take place in the participant’s home, community gym, park, or another appropriate community setting. Family members, caregivers, and the participant’s support team can be included in goal-setting when appropriate.

Movemeant is committed to the principles of California’s Self-Determination Program by providing person-centered services that respect participant choice, preferences, autonomy, and individual goals.

Services are provided by an experienced fitness professional with a background in personal training, adaptive fitness, senior fitness, psychology, and movement performance.
